About me:
Here's what PALS said about her:
"She was brought to me one Saturday morning with her friend, a Jack Russell Terrier. A family found them along a county road near Montezuma. It was a very cold day and both were very under weight. The family was just passing by and had called the sheriff. My number was given to them from the sheriff’s department. I took them in and began caring for them. They both transitioned very well and had sweet personalities. They slept for about 2 days straight. I gave them open food for days and they ate like 8 cups each day. Both transitioned to their new homes and separating very well."
I found Shirley through Petfinder.com while looking for a Doberman. On a Friday night I went to Grinnell to pick her up and had to drive home in almost blizzard-like conditions. She slept most the way back.
