About Tony Dowlers Hellhounds

Tony Dowlers Hellhounds a Manchester based blues/rock trio, are proving they are a first class "live band". Recentely formed using musicians from previous projects (Dave Burns on bass and Steve Tansley on drums) the Hellhounds are solid, tight and driven by belief, enthusiasm and passion. The band get their inspiration from great musicians and bands such as Jimi Hendrix, BB King, Rory Gallagher and ZZ Top amongst others. Tony Dowler impresses audiences with outstanding guitar craft and together with two like-minded musicians the Hellhounds are the ultimate blues/rock power trio. The band are currently working on new material for their album which is to be released in the near future from their Manchester based studio. Playing a mixture of original and classic blues rock, they have played and headlined gigs and festivals in the UK Ireland and across Europe including topping the bill at the Shetland Blues Festival and the Bremanger Rock Weekend in Norway to name but a few.
