Hello my Name is Tony Jean Mckaine, I..m 18 years old and live in Germany.
My musical career began in 1997 when i first heard bands like Deep Purple, Iron Maiden, Jimi Hendrix. From this moment i really loved music and my interest for drums had grown.. So i started to play drums only on my bed with sticks in my hands and playing on a few pillows.. so i really learned how to play drums..
Than in 2002 i played on a real drumkit for the first time, and because of playing and playing on pillows i could play on a normal drumkit without practicing it before ..but my father once said, to begin with a " normal " harmonical instrument ..so i picked the guitar..
Over 6 years now i play guitar and played lots of hours every day..just play and play..i got better and better ..and startet to play in a school band at my school..
In 2006 i recorded the song on my myspace side " The Other Side"
I recorded ìt in a studio in dortmund called "Unbroken Records" in cooperation with Massimo and Frank Wernitz that was one of the most exiting moment in my live ..thanks to massimo and frank!
All the instruments vocals and lyrics were written by me and played by me ..
That really was a great feeling in studio..
I never had lessons and i never wanted to take guitar lessons or what ever..i think a really good guitarist is someone, who don..t needs a teacher who shows how to play..
I play lots of different styles, i really like to play acoustic guitar, classical, and spanish guitar..
Also of course electric guitar, my fender stratocaster..i love to play blues and rock stuff in my soling and some other influences ..
Furthermore i began to play bass and keys/piano..and singing..
After a few gigs and a report in germans newspaper " Dortmunder Rundschau"where i played my guitar with the tongue :D i became very popular at my school and lots of people had seen me on gigs and so on ..Soo music is of course my biggest passion
but often people say to me i..m such a crazy person especially when they see me how i play guitar live..I..m in my own world when i play with a band and play a guitar solo..
My idol and biggest influence is Ritchie Blackmore of Deep Purple..
This man has got some magical in his playing!
Also Jimi Hendrix really influenced my guitar playing..of course the most important guitarist!
But i hope that i also have an own style, because i dont wanna copy someone..there are soo many great guitarists!
I prefer only to play what i really feel, if it is sometimes fast and agressiv, or melacholic sounds and slow soloing..
I just play what i feel.. And i think thats the most important thing in music !
At the moment I am searching some new band projects..
