Back from his tour leaping around country to country from England, Sardinia/Corsica-Italy, Bosnia, Croatia, Germany, Amsterdam, and the United States, Avex Axiom Has compiled and developed a sound that he has found for this EP that is a direct reflection of what he saw moving the crowds though out his tour. "As soon as I got back to the studio here in Chicago, I knew exactly the direction I wanted to pursue and have never been more excited to see where techno is right NOW". This EP is some of his best work and we have been assured that this is only the beginning.

“The LIGHTS DOWN EP is coming at a perfect time--the end of the summer months, at least in the northern hemisphere. Although all of these tracks were written at different points over the course of time, they stand here together as a reminder of warm weather, cool cocktails, and partying until sunrise. Over the course of the EP, the feelings conveyed vary from the minimal stomping of ‘Bigfoot is in control’, to an almost loungy break in ‘Waves of rays’. ‘The last bell’, named obviously for the main melodic drop, works as well on the floor as it does in a private listening environment. And ‘Sets in the west’, with its deep tech-house feel is an homage to what sets in the west all over the world; the sun. So push that fader wherever you are, and turn those lights down.”
