Tony's Interests
|
| General | Genetic engineering. Video games. Star Wars. Community video game projects. Martial arts. Cooking. It's 2007 and there's actually no entry for video game interests, so I'll have to list them here: Zelda. X-Wing. Dragon Quest. Super Smash Bros.. F-Zero. Street Fighter. | | Music | Koichi Sugiyama. Tchaikovsky. Other classical. Techno, some rock and roll, good J-Pop (although bad J-Pop can be hilarious), some jazz, some blues, some big band I guess. Whatever, if it's good, it's good; if it's not, it's not. Unless it's country, in which case it will always suck. | | Movies | Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, Back to the Future, Indiana Jones... um yeah, those are the ones that come to mind right now. I love a lot of movies, but of course the big series are easiest to remember. Anyway, The Empire Strikes Back is my favorite.
Adding specific other movies as I remember them: "Ghostbusters," "Cinderella Man," "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon." | | Television | Berserk. Fullmetal Alchemist. Other anime. Babylon 5. Battlestar Galactica (old and new). Stargate SG-1 and Atlantis (Shoot me now! So predictable, but geekiness + fighting + humor = good enough to watch). Star Trek TOS (The Original Series) and The Next Generation. The Twilight Zone (the old series). Most Extreme Elimination Challenge. Iron Chef. The Daily Show. South Park. Documentaries. Stand-up. I'm sure a lot of other shows I am forgetting. Just about anything on the basic stations sucks, though. But House is good. All cop shows are alike, and so are all medical shows (but House makes it fun to watch anyway). Reality TV, talk shows, any kind of "bumpin' party" coverage (AKA MTV), and soap operas are poison for the brain. So is just about all talk radio. | | Books | It was assigned reading, but I loved "1984." "Journey to the Center of the Earth" was hot too, even though it's outdated nowadays. I don't read many books anymore. | | Heroes | Become your own damned hero. |

Tony's Blurbs |
About me:
Gamer. Geek. Not your average guy, but then everyone says that.
|
Who I'd like to meet:
Of course, every true gamer wants to meet Shigeru. And being a big fan of Smash Bros., meeting Sakurai would also be awesome. George Lucas, of course. But almost as much as those people, I'd like to meet whatever internet friends who I haven't yet. And there's various fictional characters I'd like to meet, too.
