About me:

Interesado de siempre en la vida y sus eternas contradicciones, sociales, políticas, ideológicas, afectivas. El arte en su doble vertiente, como expresión elemental de la naturaleza humana y la vía a la comercialización de la creatividad. No concibo la existencia sin "ruido", sin música, que es la organización armónica por excelencia de ese ruido ancestral e inherente a los seres vivos. La otra gran ventana al mundo es la visión, que no solamente son los ojos, sus instrumentos, sino la percepción, sensación de actor/observador que me llevó a ser fotógrafo, especializándome en el mundo de la música, con interés especial en el jazz, blues, flamenco, y músicas étnicas. La lectura como catalizador de la otra expresión clave de los seres humanos, la palabra...de historias tribales a lo último de Roberto Bolaño. I have always been interested in life and its everlasting, ongoing, and non stop, social, political, ideological and emotional struggles and contradictions. Art as a basic, vital expression of the human nature and the way that creativity get lost down the drain by getting to deep into the business mainstream. I do not conceive existence without “noise”, sounds, nor without music, which is the supreme harmonic organization of the ancestral “noises” inherent to human beings since the beginning of times. The other big window to the world is vision, not only the eyes, their instruments, but perception, the feeling to be both actor/observer was what led me to become a photographer, specializing in the music world, with special interest in jazz, blues, flamenco, and ethnic music. I enjoy reading, I consider writing a catalyst for another key expression of human beings, the written voice ... from tribal stories of ancient people to the last novel of Roberto Bolaño.
