My guitar playing sounds like a little of each of my influences, but with a distinct energetic quality... and my techno... well... I don't really know how to describe that. You just have to listen to it, I guess.
My name is Tony McCoy, and I'm from Kirkland, Washington. I am 17 years old. My biggest hobby is using computers, and I’ve been using them for most of my life. I currently use an 8-core Mac Pro, Logic Pro, and my three guitars; Music Man Axis, Ibanez AEG acoustic, and a grungified Yamaha Pacifica.
As I said earlier, I play guitar, and I also play keyboards. I have been playing guitar for about three and a half years now (but I play almost constantly, so probably more like the equivalent of a normal player's 6 or 7 years). I have never actually had any lessons with the keyboard, though. I just play a few notes here and there.
I first got interested in music in September 2005. I had nothing to do, and I was extremely bored, so I picked up the guitar my mom had gotten me for Christmas the previous year (the Yamaha, pre-grungified), and started playing. It wasn’t until January 2006, however, that I actually started recording (with a computer. I had recorded with a mini-tape recorder previously), when I got my Mac Mini G4. I have been recording and producing almost every day now, since. Although lately, my focus has become more with acoustic-based songwriting, so I haven't been doing much recording lately.
Additionally, my friend Joe and I are starting a band. So far we have two guitarists; him, and I, and a singer. I'll post something when we finally get a presentable recording.
I thought of a good part for 2nd guitar on your acoustic peace. I think it would make your song sound even better then it is now, which is saying a lot cause that song is really good. Any ways in short we should get together this weekend so i can show you.
Ice Planet is so cool!!!... no pun intended. Hey, I'm in your top friends! That's awesome!!! *giant hugs* Your song is replacing Zombies of Ska on my profile... that is a big deal! <333333333 *hugs and ermmmm BAKLAVA! - Miranda* :3
