band bio...
well as of right now
it's a one-man band consisting of myself on vocals, guitar, and whatever else needs to be played.
Born and "somewhat" raised in Southern California (I'll grow up eventually... maybe?!), I started writing songs and teaching myself to play on a black Squire Stratocaster at the age of 16 and
began playing the clubs on the Sunset Strip (The Troubadour, The Whisky, The Roxy, Key Club, etc.) at 17.
Lately I've been doing shows with AMBUSH playing lead guitar, while still writing & recording my own music, doing session work (anonymously most of the time), and playing the occasional solo acoustic gig.
I guess I would describe my music (if I must) as melodic rock
(think Butch Walker, Cheap Trick, Gin Blossoms, Jimmy Eat World, etc.)
with a touch of old school metal (yes, some of these songs do contain self-indulgent guitar solos...OH SHIT!!!).
I'm not playing music for the critics or writing lyrics about politics.
My songs are about Love & loss...
things that most people have experienced and can relate to in some way, shape, or form.
I just do... what I do.
