Tony is thankful to have started cello in the public school system and has spent more of his lifetime as a cello player than not.
He HAS tried distortion electric cello, but it didn't take.
In 2005, he wrote a large number of cello/vocal songs which have been privately recorded and will someday find themselves on a very personal album. (I swear)
He loves collaborations between creative people, and loves being a part of a group.
In 2006 he created the Portland Cello Project which has grown like gangbusters since its inception.
Tony has recorded with over 50 artists to date, some of which include The Ahs, Holcome Waller, Jonathan Meiburg of Okervill River and Shearwater, Jens Lekman, The Impossible Shapes, Nedelle Torrosi, Nat Baldwin, Ethan Bell, The New Shoes (not Nu Shuz), members of Magnolia Electric Company, The Mao-Tung Section, Noah Seitz.
He currently lives in partial isolation with horses and peacocks.

Hey man- Think of you often. Write, not enough. I hope your well. Things are good here. Just sent off the reels for mastering. It'll be interesting to see what makes the physical disc. There was a vote and stuff. Anyway, you're missed bro.
Hey Tony, didn't know if you knew, but I think your 'space' has been taken over by some promoters for a website.... because i keep getting these bulletins, and you aren't much of a bulletin guy....
