My new project 'Cross the Line', is a trio, with Alex Bennett ..boards and synth bass and Jasper Morrissey on drums. I also love to work with Jerry Brown on drums and Jon Harvey on electric bass.

Having lived and worked in Canada and the US , Tony moved to London and immediately established himself as a guitarist with a unique sound and voice.
Following this, he became the featured guitarist with legendary US vibist Roy Ayers with whom he has toured all over the world for seven years .
He also has his own band, The Tony Smith Band, which is made up of some of the UK's leading jazz and session musicians. The band was launched over two sell-out nights at Soho's Pizza Express Jazz Club, and he now gigs throughout the UK.
Tony features regularly in the press and media including, The Evening Standard, Metro, Time Out and Jazzwise Magazine. He has also been a guest on mainstream radio shows such as The Vanessa Feltz Show and The Craig Charles Show for the BBC. He set up his own label, Ruzzell Records on which he released ‘Loyalty, and his new album 'The Window'. Both have been critically acclaimed - see www.tonysmithguitar.com
