  • General

    I'm reading about 4 different books currently. I watch Food Network for culinary inspiration, I guess I'm a psuedo-foodie... I love tormenting my dog with the old "fake throw" with her squeaky toy, she still hasn't figured it out. One of these days I'll learn another guitar chord. Spend an inordinate amount of time listening to music. And get this, I BUY cds. Okay, I had to edit this... I got an iPod for my last birthday... I still pay for my music, I still buy CDs. I'm one of those caveman-types that likes to read liner notes.

    My first love was music. First album I bought was the Paul Stanley solo album by Kiss. I also like Metallica, Alice in Chains, Corrosion of Conformity, Motorhead, Deep Purple, Chris Isaak, Nirvana, Outkast, Sound Garden, Evanescence, Blind Melon, Bob Fuckin'Marley, Morphine, 3Leg Torso, Amadan, Johhny Cash, Willie Nelson, Miles Davis, GnR, Albert King, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Black Label Society, Kyuss, Damage Plan, Beastie Boys, Def Leppard, Tool, Velvet Revolver, Seether, KMFDM, Front 242, Ministry, Type O Negative, NIN, Sarah MacLachclan, Incubus, Ani DiFranco, Twisted Sister, Korn, the list goes on and on and on...

  • Movies

    Though I rarely go to the movies, I do watch a fair number of films on dvd, most recently, "Unchained" and "Date Movie" which was a total waste of $19.95, good thing I get those fat union paychecks... I can throw in "On Any Sunday" and easily lose 90 minutes.

    The original CSI, NCIS, The Unit, Iron Chef, Good Eats, Myth Busters, Austin City Limits, My Hero. ..

  • Books

    Am I the only one feeling "Post-Potter Depression?" Slowly digesting Anne Rice's "Mayfair Witches" novels, re-reading the Tolkien Trilogy for the umpteenth time, Terry Prachett's Discworld series as I track them down. Phillip Pullman's trilogy.
