Get ..free MySpace Layouts.. at MySpaceLayoutSupport.com.. ..MySpace Layouts.. | ..MySpace Backgrounds.. | ..MySpace Codes.... .......... ....Cute MySpace Layouts........ ..Pop music has taken on a decidedly funk and rock twist thanks to the efforts of artist Tony Tyler... ..He has been seen along side of many industry legends such as The Temptations, Martha Reeves and The Vandellas, members of The Allman Brothers Band and The Derek Trucks band, as well as powerhouse drummer Tony Royster Jr of Jay Z fame, just to name a few... ..Tyler grew up on the town of Dublin, GA just 45 miles south of Macon a.k.a. the hometown of The Allman Brothers. “Being from that area,” he explains, “Southern Rock was absolutely part of my musical upbringing. My dad never forced music on me but his choice of music for his band was certainly an influence in my development.” His father was a drummer who exposed him to the genre and, as he got older, he expanded his musical horizons to Funk and Pop while making a name for himself in his high school’s drum line... ..While still a teenager, Tyler got a taste of the music industry first hand when he hired William Perkins (Allman Brothers Band road manager) to represent him as his personal manager. By the time he was 15, he had been hired by two different national super groups that floundered due to matters beyond Tony's management teams control. While kids back home were struggling with puberty, Tyler was grappling with a music industry that continued to disappoint him at every turn. Tyler eventually relocated to Sarasota, FL where he has found the success that has dodged him all these years... ..Through three albums, "The Tony Tyler Trance", "Streets of Gold", and the most current "Under The Lights" (which was mastered at world famous ABBEY ROAD STUDIOS) Tyler creates Pop songs whose roots can be found in the songs of John Mayer, Jack Johnson, The Allman Brothers, Wet Willie, James Brown, The Jackson 5 and others. Tony Tyler has recently teamed up with master producer Del Couch and agent powerhouses John and Ken Lakin in Sarasota Florida. Dels credits include several degrees from Berklee College of Music, a member of The Grammy Association, and has worked with several legendary artists including grammy award winner Rick Derringer and founder of the chart topping band Alabama Jeff Cook. The Lakin brothers have represented many nationally known superstars from actor Tom Arnold to several superstar athletes.
