5:30 am (EST) Friday, started car. airport, plane, airport, plane, car, 6:00 pm (central) arrive at hotel.
Nebraska was awesome. The people just as awesome. It was my first time there, so I had to take in the sites at 70 mph.
I presented a morning writer's workshop top about 20 teens. The girls above drove 105 miles in the fog to come. And they brought a copy of Fakie that was printed upside down and out of order! As you can tell, they were proud of it!
After my new author friends Debora Hopkins and Heather Henson spoke, I got a chance to talk to the audience about the importance of Batman and electric shock pens to teen reading.
Then ...car, hotel, dinner, 6:50 am plane.
I had a blast and can't wait to take the family to Nebraska.
