I write my own songs and perform as a solo singer/songwriter accompanying myself on acoustic guitar and banjo -or not. There are many formats - 1) The straight solo act with an assortment of love songs, blues, raps, social songs, protest songs, funny songs and unclassifyable songs. 2) "Singing in the Bath" a solo show where I sit in a tin bath and perform a range of funny, quirky songs and poems - as performed at the Edinburgh Fringe. 3) Me singing, accompanied by Steven Turnbull on piano doing a set of mainly love songs. 4) My new band "Rainy Day Women" which covers Dylan songs in our own way with Dave Weston on bass, Mick Overy on lead guitar and Arthur Smith on drums - soon to add Steven Turnbull on keyboards. 5) I also play banjo with a funky little band from Essex called "Songs from the Blue House"
I now have 6 CDs released on my own label - all available through my website.
In 2005 I became a professional actor going under the name of Ellis Winn since someone had already registered Tony Winn with Equity.

The common message is a link to "a girls account" but mouse over the URL you see and it is not the real deal. click it and you ARE NOT ON MYSPACE - you will be asked to log in and at that moment you have given them your account.
Tony, I have listened and listened to 'I SEE YOUR EYES' and heard Julie and Gary play it live a couple of times. They make a stunning job, of a really beautiful song. It is a masterpiece of songwriting. (see Gary Holder's page to listen) Thanks Tony, Julie and Gary for the enjoyment it gives. Best wishes.....Greg
