About Lorraine Davies and the Too Drunk to Fish Band
Lorraine Davies and the Too Drunk to Fish Band are the ultimate good time party band, having become an entity on their own. Taking the amazing vocal abilities of female lead singer Lorraine Davies, the band has added high energy, a exciting blend of Rock, Celtic, Kickin Country, Blues, and Bluegrass instrumentation, the addition of lead male vocalists,  and outstanding harmonizing, creating one of the most versatile and entertaining party bands around.  Whether they are covering your favourite tunes or playing their own amazing originals, you will be totally entertained by their music and stage show, The band has played at some of the most renowned venues, fairs, festival, and events throughout Ontario and the United States.

Whether it is a complete performance of one musical style, or a mix of several, this band is sure to please. Right from the beginning the band was getting attention with their name.  Venues and festivals were hiring them almost on the name alone. Once they heard Lorraine's voice though, they were hooked. They have been heard, read about, and seen, on TV, radio, newspapers and magazines.  They have had airplay on conventional AM/FM, internet, and satellite radio around the world, with a number of their songs making to to the top of the charts.

The band has played at such reknowned venues as The Legendary Red Dog Tavern, Scarborough Ribfest, Pickering Ribfest, Brantford Ribfest, Toronto Ribfest, Markham Village Music Festival, Cannington Canada Day, Aurora Ribfest, The Horseshoe Tavern, Brantford Canada Day, Healey's, Tequila Willy's,  Corral, Stampede Ranch and Corral, St. Georges Applefest, Bobcaygeon Fair, Vankleek Hill Country Majboree, Merrickville Music Festival, and many more!

Besides being headliners themselves, the band has opened for the likes of Aaron Lines, Brian McComas, Deric Ruttan, with many more to come...

Lorraine Davies and the Too Drunk to Fish Band consists of:

Lorraine Davies - Lead and Background Vocals
Originally from Scarborough, now an Ajax, Ontario resident, this multi-talented singer, songwriter, and performer, has to be heard to be believed. Singing all her life, but professionally in just recent years, this lady is getting recognition and fans wherever she performs. She can sing country, rock, blues, alternative, and pop, all with the same energy and uniqueness. Her first single to radio in Europe was country, and it went to number one in several countries, and was number 3 for all of Europe. All Lorraine just wants to do is perform and sing!

Rob MacArthur - Rhythm Guitar, Banjo, Vocals
Originally from Kingston, now residing in Ajax, Ontario, Robert is a vocalist, guitar, and banjo player, for the band. Starting at the early age of 14, he has played for such bands as the Rideau River Grass Band, Country Cougars, and Southern Rain. Taking time off from music to get a real job, married, divorced, married, divorced, finally find Lorraine and get married one more time, he has come back to thing he loves so much... music. A talent for performing uptempo oldies, country, and rock tunes, he also likes to talk, sing, write, and perform, about things on the lighter side of life.  Currently seeking sponsorship from a Canadian Brewery or Winery.  Rob believe that the major good groups are wings, pizza, and nachos... and beer!

Garth Bourne - Bass Guitar, Vocals
Garth started his musical career in the early ‘70’s, after moving from the West Indies to North America.  His vocal talent was recognized immediately, with notable labels such as R.C.A. and United Artists signing him on with the band, Canadian Zephyr.  As their lead vocalist/bass player and front man, Garth took many of their records to NUMBER 1, several times on the Canadian country music charts.  This gained them international notoriety and many Juno and Country Music Award nominations.  Garth has proven his musical flexibility throughout the years, performing with bands and opening shows for many notables such as: Wilf Carter, Tommy Hunter, “Whispering” Bill Anderson, Freddie Fender, Johnny Paycheck, Stonewall Jackson, Jean Shepherd and several other Opry Stars.   The Too Drunk to Fish Band is pleased and honoured to have Garth as a member of their band.

Frank Russell - Drums, Vocals
35 years in the biz, born and raised in Hamilton, now residing in Whitby, Ontario. Frank currently teaches students(his rugrats) the way of the drum.  He has a rap sheet of adventures too long to list here but notables are: touring and playing with  Lee Aaron , Moxy, Plateau, and the Downchild Blues Band.  Frank's experience with so many different music genres gives a very unique feel and sound.  If you're buyin.. Franks drinkin!

Bruce Nasmith - Lead Guitar, Fiddle, Vocals
Bruce has made a life long career with music.  This multi-talented individual is an accomplished musician with many different instruments, in many different styles.  His song writing and performing have been featured on TV and the big screen.  Bruce's roots are deeply planted in the Blues, which is very apparent with the success of his earlier band "Wild Blue Yonder."

The kids are grown... the mortgage is paid... and it's time to party!  Lorraine Davies and the Too Drunk to Fish Band are the perfect example of living life to the fullest!  All they want to do though... is perform and entertain!

Too Drunk to Fish Band
Hey, hope you are doing well......i've got a busy couple of months coming up. I'm touring the UK for the first time in June with Kevin Montgomery, and then right back to New York for a show at the Lincoln Center on the 29th with the Texas Playboys.
I hear my name is originally English.........."All-sup"-meaning everyone raise their glasses and drink up!!! It took me 75 years, but i'm finally making there.
Anyway, here is a video about the tour, and with some footage from last year in Crete at Songs in the Sun-Crete--you can see it on youtube here www.youtube.com/watch?v=KWCZkbJM3rg, or by going to my myspace.
Take care, and hope to see you soon.
