7 guys who sort of got along got down to reviving the moribund Syracuse, NY scene in 1994 after the excitement of a (rare) local "Toasters" show. Too Hectic played all over the Northeast US (and even making it to Canada)... Boston, Cleveland, NYC, DC, and everywhere in between; with such luminaries as The Skatalites, The Toasters, Bim Skala Bim, The Slackers, The Stubborn Allstars, The Pietasters, The Pilfers, The Scofflaws, The Allstonians, Skavoovee and the Epitones, and many more.
The band put out a record through Moon Ska NYC in 1996, called "Viva Chez Slack"
After many miles, lots of shows, and more booze than you could shake a stick at, Too Hectic hung up their skinny ties after one final blow-out show in their home base of Syracuse, NY on July 13, 1997.
Yo! I can't believe that it's been 10 years!! I was at your last show (Syracuse right) and goddamn it was a ripper!! Will you ever reunite ?? What if I say please?
