   About Too Many Cooks Arkestra
Too Many Cooks Arkestra is a constantly evolving psych/noise band based in Reading. It is a reaction against every po-faced, pretentious ass who believes music has rules and boundaries. Burn that book and break that fucking wall down! If you can't play your instrument play it louder and tell that trust fund hippy playing bad funk to take a bath and go fuck himself. Technicality is a barrier to true expression. This is a celebration of Life! Every performance is improvised on the night with no group practice beforehand. It could go wrong, it could go right; such is the human condition.

Some things people have said about us:

"...an amazing sonic psychedelic experience... [a] real presence of sound, it's like someone smashing a broken fisher price karaoke set into your ear drums and sampling the beat on a dictaphone while escaped lunatics sexually molest guitars." - Brendan Meachen, CLEVERTALK

"...alchemical ecstacy..." - Ewan Mill Keith

"...speakers and eardrums are bursting into fire...youthful ghosts of hendrix thurston moore lou reed and various other pyromaniacs start screaming for some relief..." - Horton Jupiter, They Came From The Stars, I Saw Them

"...rivetting sonic-terrorism..." - Ben Johnson

"I'm a professional musician and I shouldn't have to listen to this shit!" - A "professional" musician

"Such beautiful noise." - Will Draffin

We are available for children's parties, proms, weddings, funerals, house parties or good old fashioned gigs! Drop us a line if you would like to book us for a show.

Our next gig:

WE COULD BE PLAYING YOUR TOWN! HELP US HELP YOU.
