Too Many Godz is a NJ cover band that plays songs from all genres and all periods. Some of the bands that they have been known to play include: U2, STP, Killers, Oasis, Finger 11, Van Halen, Breaking Benjamin, Saliva, Live, Bush, Bon Jovi, Led Zeppelin, Sponge, Lit, Blink 182, Guns n Roses, Billy Idol, Daughtry, Fuel, AC/DC, Green Day, Neil Diamond, Violent Femms, No Doubt, Jet, and tons more.
Too Many Godz has been on the NJ scene in many incarnations for a good part of the 90's until today. The core of the band has always been Mike and Steve K.
The band has always pushed for perfection. Selecting new tunes, re-arranging old ones, and constantly refining our sound. One compliment the band always receives is that the band sounds just like the bands we are covering.
Too Many Godz has four of the areas most talented musicians. This new chemistry of talent is unlike any other cover band in New Jersey. Mike's exacting vocals, Steve E.'s razor sharp guitar sound and complimenting vocals, Frank's never altering bass, and the glue that keeps it all together, Steve K on the drums. The band has never received such astounding accolades as they have at their recent shows.
Don't believe us? Come and see for yourself why all the club owners and their staff refer to TMG as "the best sounding and professional band we've heard" We generally perform 2 long sets (1:15 - 1:30). There is no monkey business. You will get a "SHOW". One heart pounding song right into the next. Remember Too Many Godz is even better then the real thing......

Wow. Awesome show last night. Great job on performing "Sex on Fire". You guys sounded better than Kings of Leon. Amazing. Hope ya got video on that one cause that was Hott. Def a keeper for your set list.
