Our Heroes are each and every contestant that enters any pageant. It takes courage and self-esteem to enter a pageant. Many grow from the experience.
We also think the ladies below are our Heroes. They are previous queens that during their reigh represented Toombs County at the Georgia Forestry Pageant and took the State title. We love you all!!

About me: Welcome to the official myspace of the Toombs County Forestry Scholarship Pageant an official Preliminary to The Miss Georgia Forestry State Scholarship Pageant®. The oldest running Scholarship Pageant in Georgia, going into the 69th year. We invite everyone to join in and become a member of the forestry family. One of the largest providers of scholarships and prizes in Georgia. The Toombs County Pageant is held annually the 2nd Saturday in in March at The Blue Marquee in LyonsScreven. We would love to have you join us. The Toombs County Forestry Pageant was reorganized in 2006 by Kerri Smith. Our Miss Scholarship for our 2007 Miss was $500, and we hope to build this up as the year progresses. We also give Savings Bonds to our queens that promote forestry throughout the year.

The Toombs County Forestry Pageant and our queens are located in Toombs County, Georgia. We are from the Vidalia-Lyons area. We promote Forestry, Georgia's #1 Industry.

Thank you. I finally figured out how to crop photos last night on my computer! And that picture was the result. It shouldn't be too hard to get me on the radio. My cousin Libey works there.
Hey Kerri, yes I had a very good Christmas and New Years...I even got a letter from Santa! I was so excited about that. haha. But I've been recruiting for the pageant for a while! I've got a Miss and I think a Junior for sure. And for themes....hmmm I gave Mrs. Dianne like 4 or 5 ideas and she chose my #1 idea "Pretty in Pink" so I think the others were "Welcome to the Jungle," "Salute to America," and "Working 9 to 5." I also thought about story book characters but I know your theme last year was princesses or something like that. Just let me know what you think!

My signs are now up! I was so excited whenever I saw one for the first time. They are on both ends of US 1, at the bridge on HWY 152 towards Cobbtown, and the Mt. Vernon side of 280!
