B-boy in heart, writer in mind, Dave "The Flave" Barros left university with a bachelor's degree in New Media Journalism and a mind full of ideas with nowhere to show them.
Frustrated by the lack of support from people already in magazines, yet encouraged by family and friends, Dave took action and put his ideas to work by founding the Too Much Flavour website.
'Too Much Flavour' was an idea that started as a university magazine project that expanded into a personal vision to inform others about the dance scene in the UK and worldwide.

“2MF stands for Too Much Flavour, an exclusively online magazine dedicated primarily to hip hop and street dance, with the elements of hip hop at the core of its values.”Market research has shown that despite the number of urban magazines on the shelf, none specialise in the enormous subculture of urban dance. With street dance and breaking now being as popular as ever, there needs to be a medium for people to come to for information on what is currently hot in the dance world.
Our website has news, features, reviews and downloads, aiming to enlighten dancers who want an intelligent read without being blinded by the perceived glamour of the dance industry. We aim to focus on up-and-coming performers, while at the same time paying respect to dancers who set positive examples.

Last week I was honoured to be part of an astronomic line up of musicians as voted for by the BBC 6 Music listeners for the Craig Charles FUnk & Soul Show Fantasy Funk Band.
The listeners chose the musicians and the songs and we were lucky enough to form and record the songs at BBC Maida Vale studios as part of the 75th anniversary celebrations.
The Line up was
Dionne Charles (Baby Charles) vocals
John Turrell (Smoove % Turrell) Vocals
Mike Bandoni (Funkshone) Drums
Snowboy (Perceptions, latin section etc etc!) Percussion
Ernie McKone (push and many many more) Bass
Eddie Roberts (New Mastersounds) Guitar and MD
James Taylor (JTQ, Blow up) Hammond
