Monday 21st December - 'Christmas Carnage' at Déjà Vu.
Standing in the snow of Bury St Edmunds at the unsuspected venue of Déjà Vu. The night was bound to be an interesting one with a lit up dance floor.
First act to get the party started was Ipswich based A Fate Untold with some catchy riffs and a good start to the evening. Following was some acoustic acts which should have been based downstairs but instead joined the brawl. Nik Lowe with his handy guitar sang his heart felt lyrics with his humble and soulful voice along with Sean Pyner who also took to the stage. Next we moved onto the second band of the night This Sudden Injury, bringing pop punk to the floor with driven drums and lots of energy. Leading well into Bury based Protect the Target who are making their way up with their funky rhythms, and lead by passionate vocalist Dan Brandon. Moving onto the big boys of Bury, This Is Colour turned up the volume, shaking the dance floor with their short lived set of fusion/hardcore metal, things reached a high when arms flailed as a fight broke out between This Is Colour and the soundmen, which ended with some more big boys the security getting involved...needless to say the show must go on. With it being their hometown E.P release show Tell It to the Marines brought it back to end the night on a high, with their new drummer playing one of his first gigs and many more to come as their future is ever growing. The love of the game pours out of these guys, with the good rhythms, energetic guitars and in the intriguing lyrics of Timi Hyland, getting the crowd chanting with him.
Good night, filled with good cheer and local bands bringing it home to Bury, until next time.

With the changing face of the music industry we try to offer a trust basis with our bands, where we keep in tight contact with them, informing them of all changes and decisions and likewise we expect the same.
At a time when many bands are setting up their own labels and management to avoid complications with those financially motivated, we can promise to be truthful and dedicated to all of our bands, without specific financial gain, but instead with a passion for the music itself.
We at Toonteen Industries provide a unique, trustworthy and fair experience.
When funds are made as a result of a successful gig or other sales, we reserve the right to negotiate a suitable reimbursement of our services
