The Toot Toot Toots began in early 2008 when our friends the Swindlers asked Steve if he was playing in a band, Steve said he was (he wasn't) and accepted a gig that was 4 weeks away for a band that didn't yet exist. He enlisted some friends who rehearsed twice before the debut show. Their set was so bad that it was good, or perhaps it was so good that it was bad. It was bad. But it was fun, and people had fun and asked them to play more shows, so they did 2 more and then stopped. In March 2009 the band returned (for good) with a new line up. Then in May they recorded their debut EP 'Stab me up Baby' in Danny's bedroom and launched it at the Oldie. Oh, what a night...
