THE CONCEPT♥
Top Drawer is by definition slang for elite. We use the Top Drawer (of your dresser) to symbolize what has always been in your reach; ideas or works that have been stored away safely longing for recognition.
THE MISSION♥ The Top Drawer is committed to showcasing the capabilities and potential of Hawaii Youth; while advocating community awareness and action through both the visual and performing arts.
THE APPROACH♥
Work Harder. Be braver. Look Farther. We exist to inspire Hawaii Youth to believe in themselves and their potential; by showcasing their work in a community event. To advocate that when you work harder and you take the risk to be braver and look farther anything is possible. This bringing together of passionate dreamers, innovators, and revolutionaries will create a unity of common goals that promote action to defeat local issues.
THE DEDICATION♥
The first Top Drawer Art & Fashion Show is dedicated to supporting the poverty in Hawaii by collecting food that will be donated to the Hawaii Food Basket. While a 10% portion of our admission proceeds will go towards the local non-profit REVO.
THE DREAM♥
To eventually build an adequate scholarship foundation that promotes the recognition and importance of art for Hawaii’s finest driven artists.
