In the valleys and hills of Northern Ireland, lies a small town called Omagh in County Tyrone. In this town, graces a band called TopFloor.
It all started in 2002 when we were grouped together (Paul, Peter and Adam) to do a Christmas concert for our school, Drumragh College. From there we grew into TopFloor. At first we gathered our ideas and thoughts on what type of band we wanted to be. Adam and Peter brought their influences from a more rock and metal side, Metallica, Foo Fighters etc. and Paul brought his influences from bands such as Oasis and Stereophonics. Although, this mixture is from one end of the spectrum to another, it worked and it gelled together.
From here we began to start writing and creating our own music. In the summer of 2002, we produced our first CD, "I Thought That I'd Find You Here" with 5 tracks of original material. It was received very well, with air play on local radio stations and also being sold in local record stores. The ball started to roll.
In 2004 we made our second CD, which consisted of 2 tracks "Destroying Me" and "Say You Will". We used this CD as promotion and again it was received very well.
Now, we are just your local lovable cover band. If you see us, come up and say hello. If you bring a Coors Light we will shower you with hugs.
We are available for weddings, parties or formals. Please message us or come to one of our shows to discuss a possibility of us playing your event
Paul, Adam, Chris, and Peter . . . . thanks for the request and formsharing such great songs with me. All four are very well done, nice band guys, the playing, the energy, the vocals, everything (but you know that and don't need for me to tell you!!!!) "Destroying Me", I loved the intro and then moving into the energetic moving beat. Great song, great lyrics. And "Say You Will" has such a nice structure and as with all, so well played and sung. "Going Home" though really resonated with me. A wonderful wistful qualioty to it. Deserves, like all, many more listens. Thanks again. Have a great musical journey and enjoy every minute of it . . . . Be well
i really like your music! maybe you..ll have a gig, while i..ll be at omagh (if there..ll be a family who wants to have me:() we ..ll see! keep on doing that good music!
