The first record was a recording experiment that was 2 years in the making involving 41 area/local musicians...Each track was recorded individually, one at a time (except sober and jay jay), and in secrecy...Each performer recorded without knowing who they were recording with...No two players on a song are in the same band to avoid recognition and familiar patterns... The sounds were captured on an outdated, 1983 analog, reel to reel 8 track, in real time... All mixing was done analog and live with no digital assistance. Old school!...These songs were all performed improvisationally; no songwriting was involved...Most tracks were done in one or 2 takes, at all hours of the day/night...
the second album is under construction as you read this and will be out this year
The top secret...shhh band is a tribute to the recorded works of this project and can be seen representing these songs in a art house near us...and hopefully you.
