Music is what feelings sound like. ~Author Unknown
And the night shall be filled with music,
And the cares that infest the day
Shall fold their tents like the Arabs
And as silently steal away.

About me: "There is just no reason for a life of sadness if Christ is really enthroned over your life. There are times of periodic sorrow and there are even moments of great misery and sadness, but for the life of me I cannot grasp how the Christian can justify perpetual long-face...It isn't a matter of personality, it isn't a matter of temperament, it is a matter of heart!" - Chuck Swindoll
Ok, some people have been bugging me to update my profile and I guess it is about time, so here goes. I am a 40 year old Nashville native who loves his hometown. I am a Christian and I attend a wonderful church called The Grace Place in Hermitage, TN. I play guitar and bass, write songs, engineer, produce, and whatever else needs to be done with my band Frantic Radio Beings. I have an incredible family and the most wonderful friends that God has ever blessed anyone with. (Okay, really my friends are like extended family.) They are my biggest supporters and they have always been there for me when times were tough. I could take up this whole space and name them all, but you don’t really want to read all of that, do you?
I will mention one though: my adopted niece Abby. No matter what is going on in my life or how bad my day is, I always smile when she sends me a text message (or 90) telling me how much I mean to her or just a simple “I love you.” (Happy now Abby?) :o)
The past year and a half has been a whirlwind of change: I had gastric bypass surgery on March 13, 2007 and since then I have lost 200 pounds and gained an entirely new self-image. Everyone tells me that not only do I look different but I act different and I’m finally beginning to realize that they are right. I’ve lost an entire person and gained confidence that I never had, so it’s almost like starting life over...no, it IS like starting life over!
My friend Tom and I recently started Nashville Cigar Club
and we are working to put on events in the Middle Tennessee area. If you want to find out more, check out www.nashvillecigarclub.com
That should hit the high spots for now. If there is something else you’d like to know, feel free to shoot me a message. I’m always open to meeting new friends.
Who I'd like to meet: Ed Bearss: The definitive Civil War tour guide and a national treasure.
Billy Graham: He's Billy Graham. What more needs to be said?
Tony Campolo: Another man of God I would love to talk with. Maybe I can have dinner with Tony and Billy Graham together. Wouldn't that be a blast?
Les Paul: Without Les, music as we know it might have never existed. Simply by inventing multi-track recording he gave thousands like me a job, a hobby, and an obsession. Oh yeah, and then there's that guitar...
Stephen King: If you could pick one person to tell ghost stories around a campfire, what other name would come to mind?
Wayne Gretzky: 'nuff said.
Alton Brown: I loves to cook and Alton seems like he'd be a fun guy to hang out with.
I Love You My Favorite Uncle... And I Hope Everything Is Better With You From Last Night:) And Now I Understand What You Were Trying To Prove But You Don't Have To Do It That Way.. I Will Always Love You. No Matter What Happens. ♥ Abby You Oh To Cute Adopted Niece!!! And I Told Mom What You Said!
