...... Now on his third L.P release in the space of year, West Sydney native Torcha has been making noise musically since the mid nineties. Having released 2 Underground Gems with Hyjak, 'Frozen State' with acclaimed producer B-Don, a groundbreaking new sound on L.P 'All For What' with band A Broken Silence......... Torcha has collaborated musically with an array of diverse artists from Murs & Living Legends, Drapht, Tim Freedman (The Whitlams), Bobby Kim & Buga Kingz to Ozi Battler (The Herd), Mark 'Chopper' Read, Bliss n Eso, Hilltop Hoods and has even had a track 'The road is lost', together with his band A Broken Silence played live by the Sydney Symphony Orchestra all over the country....... Torcha has rocked shows with Ice Cube, De La Soul, Mobb Deep and plenty of others. Since early youth Torcha has done nearly every type of job under the sun whilst pursuing his music; from Youth Worker, Forkie , Deli boss, Paper run, Labourer, Maccas, Pub Manager to door to door vacuum sales and after all the bullshit can honestly say that he is now just enjoying life's roller coaster ride. After touring the world to visit family and check out places from Poland to Bosnia, Torcha came back with a new understanding and appreciation for his homeland. This is shown through the new found maturity with his writing. Torcha is not one to care too much about the cash and just wish's that Vodaphone ,Visa, SDRO, St George bank and Video Ezy would also adopt this attitude and get off his back.
