The main force of the band "Torch Project" is the always energetic Aleksandr Aronov from Moscow.
You can be sure, that for many years he has been the living embodiment of the Russian underground music scene.
Since 1996 Aleksandr has been the star of several Russian rock-bands. Among them are: "Band of Quartet", "Region 77", "The Fire", "The Burn",
"Santim Didnot Come", "Caribbean Crisis", "The Animals", "The Carrion", "The Way of Life of the Brutes"...
At the same time Aleksandr Aronov pursued his own project named "Blood donor"; they toured all over Russia and also produced a couple of singles during that period.
The band was really successful, but the constant changes in the band’s line-up frustrated Aleksandr so much, that he had to find new ways and styles of self-expression.
First interest for electronic music can be found on Blood Donor’s album "Inhuman Factor", which was made by Aleksandr together with his "buddy" Yuriy Makagon on their home computer.
But times are changing! Finally, Aleksandr declined all live accompaniments – so welcome to the world of Industrial - Cyber - Punk!
"Torch Project" - it’s not music or a performance at all... It’s a thing which can’t leave u indifferent! It’s a thing which gives birth to pain and love (is born by pain and love), then it burns everything down to create something new from the ashes.
Now "Torch Project" is a cultural and aesthetic community, who have their own internet - radio "Wild radio" (http://dikoe.ru) and give performances on a regular basis.
Beginning in the summer of 2008 "Torch Project" made a lot of different trips all over Russia and the near abroad, take off by their performance on rock and punk festivals "distrust" of the public to the industrial bands...
