Bio
torch the spires makes rock music. no need to create fringe labels or attach the term progressive anywhere in this description. its rock music, party music, music that doesn't aim to be anything more than what it is. you can tell these dudes were born in the 80's and raised in the 90's. hints of nirvana, mudhoney, refused, suicidal tendencies, green day and helmet resonate in unison with modern, diversified offerings that resemble the works of clutch, foo fighters & poison the well..... throughout the entirety of their debut album “love songs," the melding of these influences can be heard executed rather seamlessly. from the snark ferocity and raw punk bravado of the album's opener "too drunk to handle the snake," to the abrasive, prophetic ventings of "when we all fly through ceilings" to the poised cavernous meanderings of "we're on our way" torch the spires demonstrates a firm grasp of the style they look to impress upon yet leave window enough opportunity to expand upon their niche in an even greater manner in future writings..... having played various venues virtually under the radar across minneapolis and st. paul for the better part of the last year the band now aims to broaden the scope of their exposure in the upcoming months to correspond with the December release of their debut full length, the aptly titled “love songs.” .... ...... .. .... .. ....VIDEOS.... DID YOU FUCK MY MOM?!!! DID YOU....

Hello!!

If you're around on Thursday, December 10th, we are playing a FREE show at Mario's Keller Bar. I don't know if you've been there, but it's a very cool place. It's a comfortable space, the room sounds great and they have a stellar beer selection.
Also, we will be playing ALL NIGHT! We'll play some funky, bluesy, and soulful music. We'll project live video onto a 9 ft screen. We'll play some older material that hasn't been heard in awhile, as well as some brand new songs that've never been heard. All bets are off!! We'd love it if you'd come down and listen/party with us!
Here are the details:
Hope to see ya there!!!
Peace,
Elliot
