About me:
I have absolutely no idea what I'm doing. I make comics. I eat tacos. I've been writing some stuff. I'm trying to teach myself how to make animation. I provide the artwork for the awesome one man band, the Dr. Orphyus Project. And apparently I can make puppets. www.torcpress.com
Who I'd like to meet:
I don't wanna meet any more idiots, fakers, posers, and step in line/follow the leader types. I'm sick of scammers and greedheads and people without a purpose beyond making money and getting laid. Give me the dreamers, the wanna-bes, the people with their heads in the clouds. If your brain doesn't dance you're not worth a damn.

  Got two reads for ya:
Unknown Soldier, the new series.  The title character is caught in the fighting in Africa, written by a guy who used to do relief work there.
The other is the Bizarre Comics of Boody Rogers, who was one of the first comic book artists.  Trust me, you'll thank me for recommending him.

Finally got around to reading Comics Buyers Guide #1655. Tony Isabella has a column where he spouts about the growing bleakness in Marvel and DC comics. "Do DC and Marvel believe comic readers want comic books that are even more depressing than real life?" he asks.

No, these were issues to comics DC never printed because it cancelled a bunc of comics suddenly in the 70s. The issues were drawn and ready to be colored. DC collected them and printed a few issue for copyright. What I'll be getting is a bootleg of a bootleg. The two titles I'm interestd in is Shade the Changing Man #9 and Prez #4.
