Mainly power metal, and melodic death metal. Throw in symphonic and progressive metals for added flavor.

Funny, action adventure stuff. Favorites have to be Terminator 2, Jurassic Park, Indiana Jones Trilogy, Back to the Future Trilogy, stuff like that. Die Hard is kinda cool, I guess.

Mostly cartoons / sci fi / action: Simpsons, South Park, Futurama, ATHF, Sealab, Space Ghost.. 24, Lost, X-files, Discovery Channel, Penn and Teller's Bullshit!
Books
Currently reading God & The New Physics - a book that has begun (even though it's 10+ years old) to unravel the mysteries surviving the origins of the universe and the human brain's need for belief in the supernatural. Other than that I love Stephen King, Michael Crichton, Stephen Hawking, and others.

Doug Stanhope, Mike Nelson, Hunter S. Thompson, Christopher Hitchens, Lewis Black, Mitch Hedberg, Einstein, other rational people, scientists, brave people willing to risk, experiment and investigate. Free thinkers.
About me: Love metal, video games, cartoons (Simpsons, Aqua Teens, South Park, Sealab)... basically anything involving loud noises, loud music, or something funny. I believe in humankind in general, although not in society.

Yep, I'm still going to the Con! I have family in San Diego, so I'll be staying with them. I'll be getting into town late Thursday night, going to the Con all day Friday, spending the day with family Saturday during the day and then seeing the Rifftrax show Saturday night. Then Sunday I go back home. I wish it didn't have to be such a tight trip, but I have summer school Monday through Thursday so I have to make it back. Should be lots of fun though!
