Among writers still living, let's include David Foster Wallace, Junot Diaz, Albert Goldbarth, Ian McEwan, and Haruki Murakami. Oh and Marilynne Robinson, of course, her. Her writing is so gorgeous I wonder how she is human. |

About me:
I am a CD, t-girl, transgender, whatever... (obligatory warning: if you don't know what that means, this probably isn't the page for you) I live part-time in Iowa and the rest of the time in Chicago.
I've been open about my gender identity, albeit my own version of gender, for about two years. Lots of my friends know, it's not some dark secret. Basically, I'm trying to get out more, trying to make friends, trying to understand how other people deal with being trans and learn from them. I'm not at all full-time, but if you thought so, than I'm really flattered.

Who I'd like to meet:
More than anything else, I want friend who I can be a girl around, who would want to go out, and have fun, I don't see gender as mattering that much(obviously). I'd like to meet people who don't think of transgenderness as a lark or experiment, but put some effort into it, whether they be a transgirl, or simply someone who is interested in transgender people.
As for the whole myspace friends thing,if you want to be my friend -- that's great, but my point in making this page is to get out of the closet, not climb into a closet with other people. Therefore, have a face in your profile and don't be afraid to say a little about yourself. Also, any drag queens out there, know that I am infatuated with your style and glamour. One day, I'm gonna look that good.
