The band TORIAN comes from the ultra-catholic town of Paderborn and exists since the beginning of 2003. TORIAN play hard but melodic power-metal with influences from Thrash and the more traditional sound of 80s style metal. The songs cover a wide variety of styles from classic metal anthems to epic mid-tempo grooves to fast aggressive thrash.

TORIANs first musical-warning shot, in the form of the 3 track demo CD Into the Winter, was released in October 2003. It was shortly followed in August by a record deal with Italian label Underground Symphony Records. The debut Album Dreams Under Ice was released January 2005.

After some changes the TORIAN line up is confirmed since October 2005.

All of this means that TORIAN are now in a position to explode onto the international metal scene!

With the release of the album Dreams Under Ice TORIAN were able to play a outstanding high number of shows for a still Underground Power Metal Band and made themselves a name as one of the number one live Bands of Germanys Metal Scene and above.

2007 will be another milestone in the history of german Power Metal Outfit Torian, because this will be the year the boys enter the studio again, to record the Songs for their upcoming new Album.
