"Torment started life when 3 mates got bored of their music scene in Kingston (suburban town just outside of London). Instead of venturing into London to find the "rave", they decided to bring the rave to them. The only really suitable venue they could find was a run down working Laserquest arena! The 1st Laserquest party was a great success, with the Likes of DJ Broken Yolk (Sick and Twisted) and Deadlock (Unsound) headlining. The second Laserquest featured mashup titan Aaron Spectre (Mashit) and the blood vessel bursting Scheme Boy (Adverse Camber) amongst others. The final party at the Laserquest was rudely interrupted by the Kingston Police and had to be ended an hour early. Torment has however continued to bring noise to the live/DJ scene this year and are currently involved in events and promotions with Adverse Camber, Yardcore and Resonance FM to name a few. Torment expect bigger, louder and better things in 2007. Keep yer ears peeled……."
