Our good friends in Messenger of Hope are trying to get signed with Capital Records. It's an amazing accomplishment, but we can ALL help them and our local music scene. THEY NEED 90,000 FRIEND AND FAST! Please find them on our top friend's list and add them to yours! THANK YOU SO MUCH!
We are currently recording and producing our debut CD with Faymus Studio run by Corey. Check out "Leaving Behind" for a sample of his work.
Please support local musicians ROMEO FALLS and their effort to raise money for the USO. Buy their song, "Wasted Tears" from I-Tunes and automatically donate to USO. Most of Romeo Falls is military and most are deployed overseas in support the Global War on Terrorism RIGHT NOW!
Music is My Weapon Choice, an outreach program dedicated to replacing gun crime, drug use, and violence with learning, friendship, and music.
We finally have our very first studio-track recorded song (Leaving Behind). And as of now we currently have 9 other songs being recorded and produced at Faymus Studio under the diligent ear of Corey Benoit. Very excitedly looking forward as we work our way to completing a full length CD! It's a slow, tedious process for all bands (especially with us all being in the military), but we're doing our best to keep moving forward.
Admittedly, our goal was not to fill this band with the world's most technical musicians; instead we're more of the "work extremely hard" group of Soldiers. We try with every practice to take a single emotion and then express it as simple and realistic to life as we possibly can. We are compelled to write a small life story with each new song and hopefully touch just one listener in the process of sharing our music with YOU!
Our songs can be described as positive alternative, light and heavy melodic ROCK with additional elements of acoustic, metal, and a touch of punk mixed together. We focus on originals; using ear-candy modern effects, heart-filled dual vocal hooks, energetic beats, soft and hard breaks, and a combination of unique -to- simple radio appeal!
1. (CHRIS as guitarist w/vocals): from solo/acoustic project called My Never Ender and most recently a metal-jazz band called Fatal Grip; in the U.S. ARMY
2. (TOM as bassist w/vocals): from past bands such as District Spawn, Silent Red, Killing Romeo, and also Fatal Grip. He has jammed along side individual members (former and current) who have come from a large family of Fayetteville's hardest working musicians. Small town, small circles; in the U.S. ARMY
3. (JAMIE as guitarist w/creative effects): from acoustic-cover solo act appearing on YouTube and debuted live in this band; in the U.S. ARMY
4. (DARBS as drummer): our new member who debuted 11 April at the Marcy Playground show and has been taking us a new direction with each new practice and show. Hails from past bands that he refused to tell let us in on, so we'll call this his first official project until he does; in the U.S. ARMY
Torn December has TONS of respect for the local scene-followers and bands, to include the supporting venues! We are looking forward to meeting a lot of folks, making great friends, and playing some fun music. And we support the men and women of our Armed Forces (and thank ALL others who do the same!)
Please check in with us for future progress, updated shows, and especially for those new songs we're working on RIGHT NOW!

Hi! Just wanted to make sure all my friends know that my new erotic horror novel THE 13TH is now in stores everywhere! I hope you'll check out this debauched and demonic horror ride!
There's even a website devoted just to the book, with an interactive map of the places and characters at www.the13th-horror.com.
Edward Lee called THE 13TH "A double-barreled shotgun blast of macabre entertainment -- an expert amalgamation of grotesquerie, eroticism, mystery, and pitch-black occult horror that no fan of the genre can miss."
And Gary A. Braunbeck said, "John Everson's The 13th is the first out-and-out horror novel in a long while to actually scare the **** out of me while reading it. It's stylish, extremely well-written, filled with richly-drawn characterizations, and boasts a labyrinthine plot worthy of Umberto Eco. Trust me -- this one will fry your nerves and break your heart."
Hey thanks for the kind words and comments. I just wanted to let you know that we have new music on the way, and that we are in a battle of the bands next week. So if you are in Utah, come check us out (details on our page), and we will be giving away free cd's from our upcoming FIRST ALBUM, "Dissapointment is control." Thanks for all the support, and the new music will be up soon, so stay posted.
