Everyone should have a list of favorite books like they have a list of favorite movies, music and memories. I know that the digital world is producing fewer people who enjoy reading with each generation, and that's too bad. I believe that reading is something akin to prayer or meditation, it changes your brain and evolves your being. Some books that have changed me are:

This interest anyone? The details of who I think I am or what I think I should say about myself? I'm an American mongrel born to Latino immigrant parents who should have been statistics ... teens, poorly educated, laborers, children of the 60's who landed in the Bushwick section of Brooklyn, NY. How's that for a lousy hand? But we had family, dreams and hard-core love. If I can pass any of that on to my two boys, then I will consider my life a success.

so funny- i hung out w/ them (SSF) a few weeks ago at a concert. it was an 80s summer jam- shannon, alisha, judy torres, coro- on and on... we did the transportation for them. i wish cj could have been there, he would have loved it. : )

i am sitting here right now- crying my eyes out. that video is so beautiful- so beautful. i can't wait to be able to show it to my mother. it really makes you realize how important family is. i'm so happy that we've reconnected and look forward to never again losing that. i LOVE U!!
The family scrapbook video is perfect, I just cried and cried and cried. I love it so much, I'm going to show it to everyone. Jade is was due last week, but O'rion is not trying to come out it's too cold... They will induce her if she doesn't give birth by 2/22.
