If you've never played, here's what you can expect from a good game of kickball:
chunky 80's ghetto blasters rocking good tunes
the barest minimum of exercise
rules that can be learned in about 10 seconds
an excuse to drink afterwards and new people to do it with
a big ol' crate of fun!

About me: Opening day is upon us for Kickball 2008. Come out every Sunday, starting May 4th, at 5:30 pm.
If anyone in southern Ontario or Quebec is interested in starting up a local kickball league, let us know! We'll help in any way we can.
So what IS kickball?
You may remember it as soccer-baseball, that game you played in gym class in grade 4 that's like baseball, only you kick a soccer-sized ball instead of swinging a bat. Its a simple game that doesn't require much in the way of athleticism or skills, so we don't want to hear that old "I'm not good at sports" excuse. The point of Toronto Kickball is not to achieve sporting greatness, but to meet new people, have some fun, and share a few drinks afterwards.
We play every Sunday night at 5:30 pm at Alexandra Park in downtown Toronto. The park is on Bathurst, just south of Dundas, across from the Buddhist Temple. Playing is always FREE. Come alone, bring friends, or just come and watch; newcomers are always welcome! Visit our website for more updates.
Oh, and nothing personal, but please don't use our profile as a billboard. Thank you!
Check out this video from the Cross-Borders tournament on June 30th in Brooklyn that we participated in: Thanks Amanda for the great video!
Who I'd like to meet: I want to meet friendly folks who want to play sports without the threat of needing motor skills, getting tired or losing badly.
Quoth the Jersey Journal: "In the second game, Hoboken slipped to the Brooklyn One team, but against a tipsy Toronto squad - which took the refreshments more seriously than the contest - Hoboken earned the mercy-ruled win."
Well, nice of them to make excuses for us, I guess..
“Wow seems you guys like to play hard and GET INVOLVED, that’s what we’re all about at MGMP! We’re constantly searching the country for new and exciting sports, ever heard of Ice Dodgeball or Snugby? Check us out, we’ve got some wild video highlights!”
I think Kickball would have a great fit in the MGMP Hardcore games!!
