Tor Talle is a Norwegian guitarplayer/songwriter who has written music for National Tv, commercials, webmovies and other artists. During the last years Tor has worked as a session guitarist . Tor started to play the guitar at age of 13 and his first big influences was Kiss and Gary Moore. Other influences are: Toto, Richard Marx, Whitesnake, Vandenberg, Strangeways, Giant, Mr.Mister, Streets, Journey, Fm, Heartland, Rush, Europe, Tnt, Van Halen and Dream Theater. When it comes to guitarplayers Tor found inspiration from Neal Schon, Steve Lukather, Michael Landau, Tim Pierce, Dan Huff, Michael Thompson, Brett Garsed, Michael Lee Firkins, Kee Marchello, Gary Moore, Edward Van Halen, Joe Satriani and Steve Vai. Tor have been playing in many different bands and with his first rockband Wendell Gee he won a Norwegian talent contest. In 1999 Tor recorded his first cd a democd with 12 instrumentalsongs and five vocal songs. Jorn Lande (Masterplan) was one of the singers on this democd. In 2004 Tor signed a deal with MTM music under the name of NORTHERN LIGHT. Northern light featuring: Tor Talle with well known singers as Fergie Frederiksen (Toto, Mecca), Tony Mills (TNT, Shy), Peter Sundell (Grand illusion), Kimmo Blom (Urban Tale, Heartplay), Rob Moratti (Final Frontier), Mikael Erlandsson (Last Autumn..s Dream) and Persa (After Eight). Tor wrote some awesome songs in the melodic rock style for the Northern light album, some by his own and some together with Fredrik Bergh (Street Talk), Jorn Lande (Masterplan), Terje Eide (On the rise), Peter Sundell (Grand Illusion) and Kimmo Blom (Urban Tale/Heartplay.)
In 2007 Tor, Joe Lynn Turner and Deanna Johnston wrote the song ”your love is life” and this amazing song can be heard on the new Joe Lynn Turner album -
In 2008 Tor started writing and recording songs with a very talented femalesinger called Åshild Mundal (Dance with a stranger ).
For the moment Tor is writing and recording songs for his new band MEMORIA AVENUE.
In April he will also start recording the next Steve Overland (FM) album.
