Music is constructed live with virtual turntables and digital percussion providing the main source of divination. Malfunctioning loops barely held together with string and itchy trigger finger on the effects buttons. Accidents happen. Vocal manipulations created off the cuff after years of neglect. Apprehension of future upheavals rides high, resting uneasilly in the stomachs of the much maligned cassette manglers. All disparations proved entirely inaccurate beforehand by a team of experts, the old locations lab reopened and old furnishings piled high with beakers fairly bubbling over with the red mist of happy mistakes. The irony is that the telling of a story in which the octave is finally rendered obsolete is best left to the tonedeaf with lost keys and hat holes exposing unwashed grease strands of errant haired, all coughed up in the past five years worth of mishaps.

Tortoiseshell Male is a cat trapped in the body of an embittered 1940s genre detective.
