TORTURE VICTIM an in your face extreme metal assault from Albuquerque New Mexico was originally formed in September 2004, as a way for some friends to get together and play the music they want to hear,and have a good time doing so. Using thrash metal as a basis and adding touches of death metal and other extreme influences the band has found their sound. There have been a few lineup changes along the way to improve the band. The current lineup has been together since August 2008.With a high energy sound and manic stage performances the band is now firing on all cylinder's and getting noticed in the new mexico scene. Torture Victim was voted the best metal band in the weekly alibi's best of burque 2008 reader's poll and tied for best overall band.The band is focused and are set to release their debut album in the summer of 2009.
