Biography
Being a vocalist in a legendary visual-kei rock band, X JAPAN, Toshi left the group when it was at its fullest bloom in '97.
He released the album,"Beautiful love song" and started a "Heart Healing" new career with MASAYA as a producer/composer in '99.
He started giving more than 2,500 concerts at various places like concert halls, schools, local events,etc.all over Japan, on a tour called "Utatabi"(Traveling concerts)" in the same year.
Since 2001, he also held charitable concerts at facilities such as homes for the old, the handicapped and children, prisons, reformatories, hospices and
similar institutions, which numbered over 8,000 altogether, to give touching and healing moments to the audiences.
His steady and honest activities, often taken up by media such as newspapers,
magazines, TV and radio programs, etc., have created big sensations.
Having continued singing songs by MASAYA, which he happened to know of and felt deeply healed with while in difficult times, in front of the people of all walks of life and in environments, Toshi says, “I have seen so many people shed tears to hear my songs for as long as 8 years, and I sincerely feel that is such a blessing and a great pleasure for me.”
He ended a 8-year-long-all-Japan-tour of Utatabi in the spring of 2007,
and has started taking a major turn as a healing artist which he dared not to in the past.
[22 October, 2007, XJAPAN press announced a reunion of the band.
XJAPAN will be giving 3 consecutive reunion concerts in Tokyo Dome at the end of March 2008.]
Having released special historical double disks including songs as “Beautiful Love Song”, "High Flying Bird" (Both vocal part re-recorded), “Perfect Love”, “Tell me the Truth”, “Let me hold myself”,
Toshi has sent a spirit of “Heal the Earth.Heal the Children.” with a landmarking new song of “EARTH IN THE DARK” produced by MASAYA.
