Discovering drum n' bass in 2003, it’s first behind the decks that this young man from Lyon developed a love for drum n' bass and within two years he was opening in France for such acts as Dj Hype, Subfocus, Shy Fx, Pendulum and many others. By 2006 he had polished his skills as a budding producer and after a busy two years in the studio, he launched his own 13-tracks album "Future Form of Intelligence" released on his co-owned imprint Totaal Rez. Upcoming producer of the french dnb scene, Salaryman is a proud defender of the dynamic electronic sound. Having respect for all kinds of drum n' bass, his DJ sets as much as his tracks reveal his multiple influences: techno, hip-hop, metal, breakbeat and reggae. A real admixture of styles with as only motto: make move!!
KALERVO (Finland)
Accomplished musician from Finland, Kalervo started his musical career with playing guitar and drums, improving his skills on stage as on studio throw several bands. Discovering the electronic scene during the late 90s, he began to promote events in his hometown Lahti. Experiencing production in the meantime, he’s really got hooked into drum n’ bass in 2000, influenced by Good Looking imprint, whose releases were spinning a lot on Kalervo’s decks. Studying music technology since 2004, things were going to be serious for his way to work music production, trying to got a result as good as tracks from his favorite producers. Today Kalervo is focused the most on producing his own music with all his experience and cross over musician skills.
INVISIBLE LANDSCAPE (Moldavia)
Known as INVISIBLE LANDSCAPE aka Meatworks, Vladimir Alexandrov is a very promising 26-year-old DJ & Producer. Native of Moldova, he throws several Drum’N Bass events in his town, Chisinau, and regularly plays abroad as in Russia, Ukraine, Belarus or Romania. He starts producing on his own in 2004 and releases about ten albums under the name of Meatworks. Then in 2008, he undertakes a brand new liquid and atmospheric musical project titled INVISIBLE LANDSCAPE which makes him win fame and sign a couple of tracks with various digital labels.
CHE (Austria)
Starting playing with sound and samples at the turn of the year 2004, Che who were only seventeen years old quickly realized that making music was more to him than just a hobby. Mainly focused on drum n’ bass, this Austrian producer remains an open-minded artist influenced by a multitude of different genres: minimal, techno but also non electronic music as reggae for example. Fond of deep and liquid moods, he keeps on finding some unexplored ways to play with the special characteristics of each of his influences and combine its with his own unique style.
ZERO FREQUENCY (Estonia)
Markus aka Zero Frequency is a young Drum & Bass producer from Estonia.
It all began at a Drum & Bass event hearing big things from ‘The Upbeats’.
With a few years of avid listening and gaining more knowledge of the genre, Markus began to test his skills.
He has been producing material since early 2007 and is working harder to achieve his goal. In 2009 he got his debute release, with a track titled "God send us". The upcoming release, "Missing Blue" is set to be released on Totaal Rez. records. Markus has got alot of attention with his debut, making many people from the dnb scene take notice and fellow DJ's also laying support for the track. He is also now signed to Point 9 Audio. So look out for the forthcoming material. 2009 will be Zero Frequency's year.
MJT (Greece)
From a very young age, MJT realized how important music was to him. He takes piano lessons, which leads him to its electronic evolution: the synthesizer. Back in 1989, almost 13 years old, he was already hosting his own radio show and making his first steps in DJing. Moving alongside the explosion of the electronic dance scene, he discovers from the acid house and techno revolution to the breakbeat, jungle and drum n’ bass, and develops a real love for the sounds of liquid funk. Apart from DJing, he began production through several types of electronic music. Today, being more mature, with an experience, respect and a deep passion for music, he continues making quality tunes, and spinning around the world the music he fancies the most.
mSdoS (Greece)
Hosting his first radio show at the early age of 12, mSdoS lived throughout the evolution of the “new” dance scene from the end of the 1980s with Acid and Techno music, which played a leading role in his future. Having lived through more than 2 decades of electronic movements, the sounds which marked his life are Breakbeat and Drum’n’bass, notably the entire works of LTJ Bukem. Beginning production in 1997, he has also djing in many parties in Greece and hosted full of radio shows, including Frisky, one of the biggest Internet Radio stations. He’s currently producing many tracks with MJT.
CHAOTIC PULSE (France)
Chaotic Pulse is a talented young drum n bass producer from Lyon, France. After doing his time in a diverse range of live bands, he made the transition to live techno, idm and drum and bass. He blends his taste for dark drum n bass with diverse musical influences ranging from horror movie soundtracks to metal.
