Six musicians from Berlin/Germany started in January 2001 a bandproject that primarily played cover songs. A few months later they decided to write and play own songs: *Totally Stressed* was founded.
Ever since the very beginning TS has been closely tied to a Berlin/Lichtenberg club called "Linse" that had always been extraordinarily active in organizing local concerts particularly helping young musicians to make progress. Band camps organized by the "Linse" ("Schlowe rockt") helped TS to gain experience and play concerts with various other bands.
In 2003, TS welcomed a new young talent for whom they've been longing quite a while: Caro became their new violin player. Having a violin player, their music became what they had been hoping for: TS's style became more folk. Nevertheless, they've tried to experiment with classical elements but never lost sight of rock elements. Due to this mix of different musical elements their style is called *Art Rock*.
In 2006, TS's piano player Marlen decided to study in another city which led to a split. From that moment, Totally Stressed got back to 6 musicians again.
In 2007, Totally Stressed welcomed a new Bass player, Bassti, who would rock with us the following year to temporarily replace our bass player Anne who had decided to work in the UK. When she came back in 2008, our singer Magda went abroad to study in the USA. During that year, Totally Stressed primarily worked on an instrumental set including an overture.
In May 2009, Totally Stressed is complete again and is currently working on getting back on stage.
