The four members of To The Boats..! are confused. They adore the pretty, delicate melodies of the English folk revival, but they also love the harsh noise of NY no-wave and the screamo supreme-os of technical metal. They are fans of the sharp efficiency of punk, but counter this with admiration for the drawn-out conclusions and time signature about-turns of prog and post-rock. It's a tough balancing act, but one they get right more than falling on their arses. But anyway, it's all about having a go, right? Come, see them cram all of this into something approaching pop songs.
Oh, and the punctuation IS important (if you seek further clarification, ask the bass player).
