It was a cold, windy, January afternoon in 2003 when To The Moon began creating music together. This was a different kind of day, change was in the air.
As Chris & Ryan waited in the front room of the Hour Haus Studios looking out the window for the guitarist to come and audition, a spontaneous photo shoot began out front. There was a scantily clad lady of hip-hop that was getting her picture taken in front of the graffiti mural on our building. We walked outside to check it out when a young man with a guitar case came down the sidewalk and introduced himself as Alex. We stood outside talking and marveled at the the model MC standing barely naked in the cold before going upstairs into our warm jam room.
We shook off the cold and the music started to flow. As we jammed, a new sound started to surface. It was a mix of drum-n-bass, trip-hop, rock, funk and jazz. We all agreed that we enjoyed making music together and decided to start jamming on a somewhat regular basis. Songs slowly emerged but the jams were fun. Then a decision was made to try and find a female singer. After many auditions and interesting jam sessions it was decided that To The Moon was to be an instrumental band. From that point on To The Moon has been a trio consisting of Chris, Ryan and Alex.

The Weak Wills are translated by Speeches, The Strong Wills by Acts. That could the Will Of One minute against The Will Accumulated by Long Centuries. We obey something Of Darkly Crowned : The Will to Live, which has Nothing to do with The Will to do Good. The Life Of The Human Being depends On its Will, without will, It would be Abandoned at Random.
