Here's What the Press Thinks:

To the Sea is a five-piece indie rock band based in Seattle, WA. Their sound and songwriting style has been compared to bands like Travis, The Verve, Radiohead, and Death Cab for Cutie with hints of Coldplay and The National.
To the Sea is a fairly new creation. The band was formed in the fall of '08 and their first show was in January of '09. However, the story of To the Sea reaches back many years. Danny, Jon, and George were in a high school garage rock band together and were only acquaintances of Brandon. But, as is often the case, the band split up after high school and everybody went their own way. George moved to Denver and flew airplanes, Jon moved to New York City and hunted the ghost of Woody Guthrie, Danny studied music in Idaho, and Brandon studied audio production in Florida. Brandon returned home after two years and moved over the mountains to Seattle and formed a band called Radiolake.
After six years however, the pain and separation anxiety became too much to bare. Danny, Jon, and George dropped everything and relocated to Seattle where they formed To the Sea with Brandon. Kyle, the newest addition to the band, moved to Seattle from L.A. to study music.
To the Sea is praised for the excitement they bring to an audience and for the precision they have in every performance. With the twisted wall of guitars on songs like “Multiple Shadows”, the spacious terrain in songs like “Museums”, and the straight ahead rock 'n' roll of songs like “Little Book”, To the Sea is easily the greatest band ever made by humans.
...They opened like a hurricane, rocking the crowd with their sweet almost europop sounds. You can’t really define To The Sea as any one genre, but I’m sure they hear comparisons between themselves and local favorites Death Cab For Cutie on some of their songs. As I look to how the audience reacts it looks like everyone bobs in time to the music. It seems they’ve won over the crowd..."

Helo, To the Sea In this moment I’m on number 12 in the Spanish charts of the DJ List and I’m searching for help to reach a bit higher. Would you be interested in giving me your vote? (just click on the pic if so). The DJ List requires to be registered to vote but if you don’t have an account there, don’t worry at all. I know it’s a mess to register and I’m just looking for some extra support. Kind regards from me and many thanks for your attention :-)
Hey, so I was thinking 2 the C might not go over too well. You can try, but I suggest if you total fail there you should come back to the name and sound you were putting out at the Mix this past Wednesday. Why? Cause you weRE TOTALLY AWESOME! (Sorry, sometimes I suddenly get loud in the middle of words.) Good show guys. Props and all that. :) Lauren V. (The fan than didn't get you to sign her shirt)
