About me:

I am the Principal and joint owner of a wonderful language school in Totnes called Totnes School of English (TSE). Totnes is a funky small town in the south-west of England where conventional meets alternative and where you can really be exactly who you want to be. Personally, I am an energetic, outgoing person and I love working with foreign students, dancing (salsa and tango), travelling and learning languages (I'm trying to learn Spanish and Italian at the moment). I love travelling too, particularly to tell people about TSE, and my most exciting trips recently were to St Petersburg last November and to Switzerland this February. When I travel, I love meeting up with old students from the school and catching up on their news. I am also a proud mother- with 3 great, almost grown-up children- Jenny, Tim and Caroline, and we have an old, but much-loved Labrador called Cally and a young, bouncy cat whose recently adopted us, called Rosie. Students regularly fall over Cally at our student parties as, typically Labrador, he insists on lying on the mat right in the middle of our lounge hoping that someone will drop some food!
