Touch’d Too Much is a Monterey Bay based band that recreates the energy and sound of Bon Scott era AC/DC.
Over the past few years Touch’d Too Much has built a reputation as a must see band. The band has continuously earned fans, and return engagements by consistently delivering nonstop, uncompromising, powerful performances, every time they hit the stage.
Touch’d Too Much has rocked crowds from the Voodoo Lounge in the San Francisco Bay Area to the legendary Rainbow Bar & Grill in Southern California. Touch’d Too Much also opened the 2009 Monterey Rock Fest which featured Heart & Billy Squier. And In July 2010 Touch’d Too Much rocked the California Rodeos' 100th anniversary celebration, with a three night guest appearance at the rodeos’ Crown Royal Saloon.
As of 2011, the heart of the rhythm section is drummer Keith Wieland, bass player Peter Sheehan, and rhythm guitarist Randy Swanson. Individually all three of these musicians have years of experience and many credits to their names. Lead guitar veteran Mike Ellis, is the one charged with bringing the guitar wizardry of Angus Young to life. And at the very core of this band is lead singer and founder of Touch’d Too Much Nick Vasquez. AC/DC fans consistently insist that Nick sounds exactly like the late great Bon Scott. Fans of Touch’d Too Much keep coming back because they know they will hear great music and see a great show. Touch’d Too Much takes pride in delivering a high energy, impromptu performance every time they hit the stage, playing all the Bon Scott tunes everyone loves to rock to.
