   About Touching Centauri
Not much to say really. I play keys/synths/piano in Below the Lights but also record my own stuff, mainly using Cubase and Reason. The stuff I write varies through ambient, dance, noise and piano pieces all with plenty of film samples. There are very few vocals (mainly as I can't sing). Not much here will change, it just gives me somewhere to host my music. Gigs will be extremely unlikely (read "not gonna happen"). For the most part I reside in Bangor (studying an MSc in Ecology) but for the holidays I'll be in St.Helens................................................................... ............................................................................................................. Just thought I'd say hello. So how is life there with no exams left? Are you living the high life with drinking, mountains and barbecues? It's alright for some. The rest of us have to work!!!

Just a quick word to say that the SH Debating Society's next meeting is Wednesday 25th April at the Citadel (Waterloo Street) from 7-8pm if you're interested.

I'm trying to get the numbers up so it would be good if I could get over ten people there rather than just three all the time.

Cheers,

T

Nov 26 2006 11:11 AM

on that CD you have:

1-6: Different Places EP
1. The Phantom 309
2. Fly Around the World
3. Different Places
4. Pool
5. I'm OK
6. Life is Hard

7-12: Tokyo Rose EP
7. The Great Adventure
8. Waiting for a Lifeline
9. Why Did You Leave?
10. Saints, Sinners, Freaks and Outcasts
11. Tokyo Rose
12. The Promised Land

Misc Ooberman stuff
13. Lavender Blue (e-single)
14. Heavy Duty (e-single)
15. Heavy Duty (club mix)
16. Honeydew (Kill The Rabbit)

tracks 6 and 16 are fundamentally the same thing so i dunno why i bothered putting them both on. everything's sourced off mp3s downloaded either from the Phantom309 site or the Ooberman one. that "go outside and be with the three-dimensional people" is Phoebe from Friends, oddly enough.

All comments are appreciated!!

Heh, its a joint effort between me and Nick. I put the crosseyed victorian up.
Consider yourself topeighted. I don't know why you're not there anyway. What with us only having 8 friends so far and all that...!
Wilbraham

Aug 23 2006 3:17 PM

yeah, i knew that. there was all information about it on the phantom309 site (RIP). have you heard Honeydew? that's where Kill The Rabbit/Life Is Hard came from. if you've got a good CD-ripping program, get it to look at the data on the disc for the song titles. they should be labelled on there.

Aug 18 2006 5:29 AM

i dunno, i haven't investigated in any depth. will do when i am at home.

Aug 16 2006 9:53 AM

just download the songs. the introducing is rubbish. well, not rubbish, but it doesn't really add anything when isolated from the rest of the show.
