About me:
Tové is a popular, award winning radio broadcaster.
To accompany her two previous Crystal Awards for “Best Female Personality”, in 2006 she won (and was the only woman nominated in the category) a Crystal Award for Best Radio Personality.
She has been in the entertainment industry since 1989 completing numerous film, television and radio courses.
People warm to her; she’s sincere, intelligent, funny and has an engaging personality.
Tové broadcasts on Jacaranda 94.2 – as a multi-media content provider. She moved after ten years on 94.7 Highveld Stereo where she was loved by millions and where she received several awards.
Tové owns and operates: tovekane.com a website designed to showcase the positive aspects of life in South Africa. Tové presents and produces audio and video downloads for her website which is updated daily.
In addition to radio, Tové has also been a TV presenter on a live news-based programme. She has made several other television appearances, on DSTV and the SABC. She continues to do extensive radio, cinema and television voice-overs as well as audiovisual presentations.
She is a preferred MC and Compere at corporate functions, international and local concerts, sporting and fashion events, store openings golf days etc. As an MC – her work is widely revered, with clients of all industries lauding her professional yet easy-to-work-with attitude.

As a natural progression from her years of communicating with millions of people, Tové has developed into a motivational speaker focused on helping people discover they are the solution they seek in their own lives. She has spoken at numerous places addressing varieties of audiences from school mothers to corporate leaders.
Since 1996. Tové has co-owned a marketing, event management, corporate promotional company, Able-Kane Productions. Since 2006, she has shifted her focus more towards motivational speaking, writing, presenting, singing, producing and training.
Tové works extensively in the fields of child protection and women empowerment. In 2004 she was the recipient of the White Ribbon Award for her contribution to child protection. She is Patron and a director of Wo+men Against Child Abuse. She is also a Cotlands Ambassador. She assists numerous other charities ranging from women empowerment, cancer, child protection etc.
Tové has released 2 Cd’s: Love in the Afternoon 2000 and Merry Christmas to You, 2001. She has sung to audiences of more than 12 000 people and is frequently booked for corporate events as both MC and singer.
After graduating from Rhodes University with English and Drama Majors, Tové was hired by Talk Radio 702 as a weekend sports anchor. Tové was simultaneously working as a voice artist, operating and managing her own mobile disco, N-joi! Discos, as well as writing short stories and film scripts.
She was a finalist in Mnet’s short film initiative “ New Directions “ with a script entitled, “Jive Alive”. She has written for “ Suburban Bliss “. Tové has also written numerous works of poetry as well as other film scripts, short stories, and two as yet unpublished books. She writes magazine articles for various South African publications and BLOGS everyday on her website.
